With passion for hair
Although the signs were there, I didn't always know I wanted to be a hairstylist. Sure, I was my grandmother's go-to for a good hair brushing, each of my friends personal stylist for any dance or party, and let's not forget the Sinead O'Connor hair cut I gave myself at the ripe age of 3, but I never dreamed of making a career of it. Maybe I was too busy cutting everyone's side bangs with my stepmother's sewing scissors to realize that there were people out there who did this for a living.
It wasn't until a dear family member told me, and rather bluntly, that it was time for me to drop my Criminal Justice studies and start doing what I love and what I am good at- Hair.
So, here I am, years later, doing that whole follow your dreams thing, and I couldn't be happier. I now own a studio salon and get to spend every day doing what I love. I consider my clients my close friends and there is nothing more gratifying then seeing their faces light up once I finish their hair. I truly believe hair is your best accessory, and therefore, perfection is a must.
